Welcome to FactCheck AI, a product of Sourcewise LLC. By using our app, you agree to the following Terms of Service:
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the FactCheck AI application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Use of the Service
You may use the app for personal, lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt our service
- Attempt to reverse engineer or access proprietary code
- Use the app for automated scraping, malicious purposes, or unauthorized reselling
3. Accuracy and Content Disclaimers
CRITICAL DISCLAIMER
FactCheck AI is an informational tool only. The service:
- Aggregates data from third-party sources and APIs which may contain errors
- Uses AI algorithms that can produce inaccurate or misleading results
- DOES NOT provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice
- Should NEVER be used as the sole basis for important decisions
YOU USE THIS SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
We explicitly disclaim all warranties and liability for:
- Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in content
- Decisions made based on information provided by the service
- Any damages resulting from reliance on the information
- Third-party content or sources we reference
4. User Accounts
Users must create an account to use core features. You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
- Free users are limited to 3 fact checks per day
- Premium subscriptions are subject to pricing as displayed in the app
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in advance of the billing cycle
- You may cancel or update your subscription at any time through the in-app account settings or billing portal
- Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period — your account will remain active until that date
- After your subscription ends, your account will automatically revert to the free tier
- You will receive an email confirmation with your subscription end date upon cancellation
- All subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law
- Subscription access is non-transferable
- We may modify pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers
6. Intellectual Property
All logos, branding, source logic, and UI designs are the property of Sourcewise LLC. You may not reuse, clone, or redistribute any portion of the app without permission.
7. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after any update implies acceptance.
8. Termination and Account Suspension
We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend any account that:
- Violates these terms of service
- Engages in malicious, abusive, or fraudulent use
- Attempts to circumvent security measures or usage limits
- Uses the service for illegal activities
- Causes harm to other users or our systems
Upon termination, all access rights cease immediately and we may retain logs for legal compliance.

10. Abuse of Services and Automated Use
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, or any automated tools to access, query, or interact with the application
- Perform excessive or abusive API requests that disrupt normal system usage for others
- Attempt to overwhelm or crash the service via repeated requests or other abusive patterns
11. Misuse of Output or Content
Users may not:
- Repost, screenshot, or distribute app responses in misleading, deceptive, or harmful contexts
- Present AI-generated output as legally binding advice, medical instruction, or factual assertion without review
- Use the service in a way that harms public trust, spreads misinformation, or manipulates data representation
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- SOURCEWISE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
- WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, DATA LOSS, OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold Sourcewise LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the service
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you submit or generate through the service
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW
- These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, United States
- Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration
- You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits
- Claims must be filed within one year of the dispute arising
- Arbitration will be conducted under American Arbitration Association rules
15. AGE RESTRICTIONS AND COMPLIANCE
FactCheck AI is intended for users aged 13 and older.
- Users aged 13 to 17 must have verified parental or legal guardian consent to use the app
- Users under 13 are not permitted to create accounts
- By using this service, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirements
- You must also comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws
